Seeing abandoned houses—or, in this case, maybe a mansion would be a better-fitting term—makes me feel:
Curious, because I begin to wonder that if only the walls not only had eyes and ears, but also eyes, what kind of stories would they tell?
Sad, because for me, it seems like such a shame to let such beautiful buildings go to waste.
